School Hours

DeWitt Elementary School's regular bell schedule begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 3:15 p.m. Monday through Friday according to the school calendar. DES is a closed campus which requires that students remain at school until dismissed in the afternoon.

Enrollment

For the 2007-08 school year, there are approximately 600 students enrolled in Kindergarten through 5th grades.

Visitors

Parents and other interested patrons are always welcome to the DES campus. All visitors must enter the building through the front office and sign in.

School Spirit

The DeWitt Elementary School mascot is the Dragon and the official school colors are blue and gold.
