Today's Menu: Chicken & Noodles, Sweet Potatoes, Green Salad, Wheat Roll, Sliced Peaches, and Milk.

Thursay: Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich, Fruit, Milk
Friday: Honey Bun, Juice, Milk

The deadline for the Arkansas County Conservation District Poster Contest is Friday, May 9th.

Extra yearbooks will be on sale in the bookstore for $20. Students may have their name put on the yearbook for $5.00. It would have to be sent to DHS for this to be applied.

Little Caesar's pizza orders should be picked up on Monday, May 12th, in the DES cafeteria from 5:00 to 7:00.

Library News: The last day to check out a book will be Friday, May 9th. All books must be turned in by Friday, May 16th.

End of School Events

May 9th: 4th Grade Trip to IMAX/ Bus will leave at 8:00 and return at 2:45.
May 13th: Tree Program for 1st grade at 1:00 in the cafeteria.
2nd Grade Trip to the Agricultural Museum in Stuttgart.
May 15th: 3rd Grade Trip to the AR Arts Center
May 16th: Kinderlympics, 1:00 at DHS Football Field
May 20th :

Awards Assemblies (Students may leave with a parent after the assembly.)

  • 1st Grade - 10:15
  • 2nd Grade - 8:45
  • 3rd Grade - 9:30
May 21st

May 22nd:

School dismisses at 2:00.
Picnics at respective lunch times. (Students may leave with a parent after picnic.)

  • Kindergarten at the DeWitt City Park
  • 1st thru 5th Grade on the playground
May 23rd: School dismisses at 2:00.
Kindergarten Graduation at 9:00 at the DHS Gym (Students may leave with a parent.)
End of Year Party for 1st thru 5th Grade. Parties may be scheduled between 8:40 and 9:30. (Students may leave with a parent after the party.)
May 27th: Last Day of School! School dismisses at 12:00.
Students may pick up their report card and leave with a parent.
