STUDENTS
- 6th graders will stay in at lunch today. You were too loud and there is too much trash in the hallways!!
- 7th & 8th graders: If we have to pick up sandwiches and trash off the tables in the cafeteria again, you will stay in during lunch.
- 7th grade is currently winning the “Change Drive”. Don’t forget for 5 students out of the winning class get to throw 5 pies in 5 teachers face!!! All forms of money accepted, except for checks!!
- Spirit Week is next week. The day’s will be as follows:
Monday: Hillbilly Day
Tuesday: Backwards Day
Wednesday: Crayon Day
Thursday: Blue & Gold Day
Friday: Twinkie Day
- 9 –Weeks Test Schedule will be as follows:
Tuesday, Oct. 11: Periods 3,5,7
Wednesday, Oct. 12: Periods 2,4,6
Thursday, Oct. 13: Periods 1 & 2
- Parent-Teacher Conference will be Tuesday, Oct. 18 from 2-7.
- On Wednesday, Oct. 5, DMS will begin a “Change Drive” benefiting the American Heart Association. We will be collecting change until next Wednesday during Spirit Week! Money jars for each grade will be placed in the English rooms and the front hall by the office. The winning class will be announced during the Pep Rally next week and students in that grade will get the opportunity to put a pie in a teachers’ face!!!
- Students: Please help keep the trash picked up on the campus, we are doing some fall cleaning for Parent-Teacher Conference. Your help would be appreciated!!
- Congratulations to Nicholas Wright and Karli Rieves for placing 1st at the Punt, Pass and Kick Sectionals held on Saturday, Oct. 1
- If your books are brought to the office for being left outside or in the hallways----you will be given D-Hall!!
- Lost library books: “Beowulf”, “Adams Cross”, “Wander”. If found, please return to Ms. Young.
- Students are not to bring footballs to the home football games.
